You can't turn off billboard ads

During this year, in comparison to last year during the same period, business in Lithuania is growing rapidly. Whilst competition is the market is growing, more and more money is put in marketing purposes and the money is targeted purpusefully towards media channels.

This year total advertisment volume in Lithuania increased by 4% and it is predicted that by next year it will additionally increase by 3%. The biggest increase is seen in outdoors advertisment, radio ads and TV commercials, as TNS LT, market and media research company, is showing.

Outdoor advertising increased by 24,2% this year. The growth was led because advertising in billboards is a cheap advertising option and visibility of the ad is especially good. This significant increase also happend because more and more companies are willing to invest more into creative design solutions for billboards, which do not cost that much however the maximum effect is guaranteed. It is predicted that by the next yar outdoor advertising will increase additienal 20%.

TV commercials also had growth - 5,2%, radio ads - 7,6% and magazine ads - 1,1%. Mostly decreased ads in newspapers (10,8%) and internet (8,21%). Internet ads decreased because biggest part of people just turn it of or ignore it. Internet advertising is most annoying way of advertising.
